Glitzing the night away

Dear bloggie,

The Anth paper was neat! Except that tiny bit which I obviously did not pay much attention to =3 I missed out some parts because 1. I don't remember reading 'that' at all; 2. I briefly looked at it. AND, my mechanical pencil died on me at the most perfect time - question 18. Wargh.

"Um excuse me miss, I know this is a horrible time to tell you this but, my pencil just ran outta lead >///>"

"*looks at pen* Oh okay...!"

For the first time in my life, I did NOT bring an extra pencil. For the first time in my life, I did NOT add in more lead. For the first time in my life, I did NOT bring an eraser! For the first time in my life, I darkened my answers with a pen!! But it was a good first time =3 I haven't had my first time cheating though *halo*... ~

Anyway, I'mma blog a little about what's happened during the beginning of the month - Glitz & Glamor 2010 @ Tropicana Golf & Country Club! Duetotheoldage-nessofmyol'sfaithfulcamera,ithadtodieonmeduringeventtimesbecauseoftheverydimlightinthegrandballroomthereforei'musingmyfriend'spictures =3

Personally, I think the prom from the last year was a little crappy (to many, A LOT crappy). The food then was okay, the place was really bad, the deco was so-so, the organizers were totally lost, the performances were kinda boring expect my bunch'a friends and I had a good table and the theme was terrific. Everyone dressed to impress and I honestly can admit that my dress wasn't outstanding neither did my hair do nor makeup appeal to anything or anyone. Haha... Though my friends really rocked the table for being such dressed up people I have to say! I didn't have many pictures too last year because again, my camera doesn't work in dark areas.

This year, I finally had a date! And he is Jerry~ I love him so much. He truly is my bestie, male version; more of an extremely close childhood friend and not to mention hs IS my longest childhood friend since we were 8 years old~ I really hope he had fun and enjoyed himself. I knew I was not a paired dancer because I just didn't know how to get that intimate a dance with you... yes I was shy... And I am so sorry... The funniest thing to me that happened was Bong. She made friends and definitely enjoyed Jerry's company since they were seated next to each other. She herself was stunning and I so LOVE her matte Snow White lips! <3



Oh and I totally forgot about my dress! This (in the picture below) was a Greek inspired chitton if you noticed with the brooches I got to put the sleeves up (but low enough to hide my big arms!). It was spicy chili red with beautiful ivory pearl pipings. My best pair of heels were white and golden-ish bronze sandals. I matched them with simple and durable golden bangles to keep my wrist 'occupied' since I do not look good with rings at all but had a small pair of dangling pearl earrings. Then came my mum's old clutch in ivory satin material and gold fasteners. Make up was the EASIEST, SIMPLEST and NEATEST - Shimmery pastel yellow with a hint of gold eyeshadow, a very striking cat-eye effect eyeliner using a little black eyeshadow and black liquid liner, a long sexy pair of falsies, good ol' Rimmel mascara and dark rosy lips. Had a wig on too actually though it looked pretty real~ But I am so happy with the quality and how it looked no me! Not to forget my well *perasan* did french manicure using my what-ever-I-have technique and hardened brush which somehow removed it with a lot of remover and got it back in shape! Yay~

My whole theme was actually "Greek Goddess in Red, White and Gold" which I hope made sense because the Glitz & Glamor theme was "Viva Las Vegas". I HAD to look like one of my favorite resort and casino's - Caesar's Palace. But I feel like I ended up looking a lot like Oprah Winfrey because'a my size... Drastic lack of exercise, over load of alcohol and unstoppable eating habits...

This big yet meaning ful picture of us girls who sat on the same table (except the dearest Lady in FULL lace dress! GRRRrrrRRRRrrrRRRRrrr "I don't mind buying that dress over for second hand =3"). From far left: Snow White (she was SO fair with RED RED ROSE lips), Ballerina (that night, the rockstar!), Black Dahlia (I thought she looked gorgeaous with her glove idea and black dress with those sexy MJ's), Lacey Black, Myself, Cinderella (her role in her play many years back) & Sweet Subtle (whom for once I see her in a very sweet and gentle outfit). I love how this picture turned up. Though somehow I realized there weren't any pictures this year of Black Dahlia any I... I'm really sad though... Wonder why. I knew I didn't have a camera but I did ask around for help. Too bad no one actually realized though. But, does she want a picture with me too? I don't know. Sadly, I haven't had any chance to really talk to her these days... She's been really busy with her work and stuff; while I have classes and was working my past months. Sad...

Insanely in this picture above, two black guys decided to join us for a picture session too. Not really sure why, but the picture turned out pretty nice! Haha...

In another group picture (flashed!) with Chirstine, Harmmie, Maybel and two other people whom I totally do not remember, I was the shortest. What is this?? How could I have emphasized on my height?? And the longest dress? Haha... Whatever~

At the table when the emcee said something pretty ridiculous and we all laughed. I think this was candid. See my nails?? =DD

Also, I realized I did not have any proper potriats of myself for the event... Neither a nice pair up picture I can crop except this:

Haha! Yvie's hat is still visible! That was the only available picture for me to crop and wonderfully, it was GOOD! <3>_> Geez.

Fingers cross no matter what. Keep the focus on fun! Haha...~ Okay, I'm real tired now and haven't really had the best sleep for this month and the last. Off to bed for now.
