When I look at the Stars

Dear bloggie,

Yesterday was probably one of the calmest days I've had. But the morning was a storm! Native visiting day~ "Kampung Orang Asli Kuang, Rawang"

The weather; was a killer that morning. Left home about 7am for breakfast at Fatty Ho then surprisingly received a call from Andy saying the he was already in college and the time was 7.45am. Ran across the bridge like a mad person only to realize that Mei Chee was also there waiting for me (okay paiseh I was the last person to arrive!). When we were across at the bus stop, I called Rahim and also found out that he was already waiting for us at the KTM Station! WARGH the whole morning was filled with nothing but feeling paisehhhh... >////> By the time we took the Mini Bus and took the whole big round to the KTM, things got worse when typical Malaysian drivers started slowing down to look on their right - a big pile of mess where two cars, the one in front had its trunk rammed from the back while the other car at the back had a smashed car bonnet. More interesting, the car with a smashed front turned 180 degrees and was facing the opposite direction. Malaysian drivers at 8am: Wassuppppp.....~

After all worried and nervous about my groupies, it turned out even better when Asthma Achmed did a wonderful job for the souvenir (I can't believe I didn't take the picture!!) AND he brought a video camera! =DD So what if it wasn't the canggih manggih one! >=D We took good minutes of video of an interview with Batin Ipin (like Ipin & Upin the animation).

Clockwise from top: Myself, Batin Ipin, Rahim, Andrew, Mei Chee & Mor (Representative & tour guide)

I'll let the pictures do the talking now =)

Once ancestors' home, now durian hut!

Burger stall...

With friendly ladies!

And so long friendly natives... They were lovely people. Though language was a little an issue, but they were approachable, kind and just down right nice!

We spent good 3 hours there interviewing and walking about the village. There are about 400 villagers and a total of 18 families of 5 to 6 family members. Only 12 cars in this huge 300 hectares of land and we only walked A part of it. AND, we were told that there're this really neat waterfall, a 2 hours drive from the village to the picnic site. Can't wait for my next visit! Hahaha! And this below, is a little something for our first time:
I think it's rather obvious. Hahaha! We love you Andrew & Rahim! xD

So beware of the HEAVY load of pictures from the 3 hour visit to Kampung Orang Asli Kuang, Rawang =) Night bloggie! Take care and sweetzzzzz~ I'll be updating soon no worries! The next post, Vienna! Love you ultra extremely lots and God bless <3
